The indoctrination of Gerrit Wolfaardt is complete: his family traditions, history, culture - even his church - have taught him black South Africans are a cancer in the land. Under the eye of prominent members of the government and military, Gerrit develops a diabolical plan to rid South Africa of its "black danger". Before his plans can be carried out, he meets two people who will put him on a collision course with his future: Celeste, an open-minded university student, and Peter
Lekota, a pastor who challenges Gerrit's prejudice.
His "final solution" meets its greatest obstacle when Gerrit himself realizes he is in the wrong. The Persecutor becomes the Peacemaker and begins to seek reconciliation between whites and blacks. However, in the turbulent last days of apartheid , there are those who doubt his transformation. One such person is Moses Moremi, whom Gerrit once violently attacked. In the film's dramatic conclusion, it is Moses who must choose between peace and bloodshed. Based on a true story, this internationally acclaimed film features an all-star cast, including Tony Award ® winner John
Kani.

Afrikaner Gerrit Wolfaardt was born into prejudice. Everything he had been taught since childhood - from his family, his church and his culture - told him that apartheid , or separateness, was right and natural. He became a self-proclaimed disciple of Hitler, and hatched a diabolical plan to rid South Africa of its "Black Danger." His ideology was challenged by Celeste, who later became his wife, and by the book Cry, the Beloved Country . His search for truth led him to question beliefs that had been passed down over the generations. In this documentary, Gerrit shares the amazing journey that resulted in his radical transformation. Also included are scenes from Final Solution , the feature film based on his life.
Available on DVD and VHS.

"The success of Sponsler and Gire's work stems from the masterful use of the traditional vocalists who often overlap in their solo and chorale mass performances. The use of a female lead vocalist, with a deep male choir and rich percussion in the background, is hauntingly combined with string and woodwind sections to produce a sound that very well balances the need to identify with Western audiences while also adequately representing the black cultures.
...Overall, if you appreciate strong collaborations between African rhythms, Western instrumentation, and ethnically charged vocals, then the Final Solution album is well worth your
investment"...FilmTracks.com

Si
If money and power alone could create happiness, the Dávila family would be among the happiest in the world. But prosperity and success in business have brought Sergio and Rina Dávila everything but happiness. On the verge of divorce, the only thing they have in common is their five children. Is it possible that one of them can help prevent his parents' breakup? With unshakeable love for his family, Brenton, the youngest of the boys, believes that his heartfelt appeal to God can, indeed, change circumstances. He whispers a prayer one day from his bedroom that sets in motion a surprising series of events in another part of the world - events that will reach their climax in his own home.
Does God answer the prayers of a child? Or is life nothing more than a series of random events? Decide for yourself after viewing With Whom Will You Go?

Is there any hope for eighteen-year old Felipe
Tendilla?
The doctor has told his mother that Felipe has two,
perhaps three, weeks to live. Gregorio and Nicolasa,
his parents, have tried everything to help him from
medicinal herbs to witchcraft. But Felipe's condition
- having lasted six and a half years - has only worsened.
Resigning herself to her son's death, Nicolasa manages
to scrape together enough money to buy him new clothes
- clothes for his burial. But Felipe isn't ready to
die just yet. He asks his sister to find the Bible someone
had given him years before. Reading the Bible, he finds
encouragement and wisdom to pray to God, asking for
peace, and healing for his pain-wracked body.
